Ghana defender Edwin Gyimah has stated that South African side Orlando Pirates will be the last club he plays in the country.

Gyimah, who joined Pirates from Mpumalanga Black Aces, has enjoyed a solid first season.

After spending most of his early days on the sidelines, the 25-year-old eventually started 18 games as Bucs secured a top eight finish.

According to him, he enjoyed his first season at the club, but he already has an eye on the future.

“I had never played for a big club before I joined Pirates,” he says in the latest edition fo KICK OFF magazine.

“That said, this doesn’t mean I am thinking of staying at Pirates for the rest of my life.

“I want to see out my contract and then go overseas as per my vision. Pirates will be my last club in South Africa because I feel I have seen it all in the PSL.”

Gyimah adds: “My aim is to play in Europe, but for now I want to serve my contract with Pirates. I want to sacrifice myself so that when I leave they will know I did my best for the team.”
