Edwin Gyasi emerges top transfer target for Middlesbrough

English Championship side, Middlesbrough are eyeing up a move for Ghana international, Edwin Gyasi, according to The Daily Mail.

The 26-year old who is in the books of Norwegian side Aalesunds FK, have set a £600,000 asking price plus add-ons for the midfielder.

Championship Sunderland and Premier League side West Bromwich Albion have all expressed interest in signing the Ghanaian international but it is Middlesbrough who are in pole position to secure his services.

Gyasi has scored six goals and has four assists to his name in 29 games so far.

Gyasi made his international debut for the Black Stars in September 2017, coming off the bench for the final quarter of the World Cup Qualifier against Congo.

Gyasi made his first start and scored his first goal for the national side in November, as they drew 1-1 with Egypt.
