Edmontanian Fetes Ghana's Team

The residence of the consul general in ALBERTA, Dr John Akubutu was the centre of attraction when he hosted the Ghanaian team participating in the 8th world athletic championship in EDMONTON, CANADA.

The party saw some Ghanaian families like the Tamakloes, Frempongs and Amuzus.It also saw some Ghanaian-Canadian friends in the beautiful estates in West Edmonton.

The Ghanaian residence in Edmonton(A CITY WITH BEAUTY AND NEATNESS)headed by Dr Akubutu welcomed the team and expressed their thanks to the athletes and the government of Ghana for making Ghanaians proud by participating in the championship despite the hardships. He further called on Ghanaian residing abroad to help the government financially to reduce the cost of burden for such events.

Ghana's team headed by the chief athletic coach S S Atuahene was full of praise for the High commission and the consul general for hosting the team and express his thanks on behalf of the government to the consul general.
