Ecobank Group Chairman's Golf on Sunday

Accra, June 19, GNA - The maiden Ecobank Group Chairman's Seniors Invitational Golf Championship tees off at the Achimota Golf Course in Accra on Sunday, June 25.

Mr Kwame Saarah-Mensah, Captain of the Achimota Golf Club, who announced this in Accra on Monday, said about 100 senior golfers aged 45 years and above have been invited to participate in the one-day 18-Hole Stableford competition.

He said the event, which would be played under the local rules of the Achimota Golf Club, would be played in three categories. Category one, he said would comprise the age of 45 years, category two shall comprise 55 years and category three, 65 years. Among an array of seasoned golfers who would be battling each other for the magnificent trophy included Mike Ezan, K K Pumpuni, John Sam, Michael Ben-George and Wisdom Asempah, all of Achimota Golf Club. Mr Albert Essien, Chairman of the Ecobank Group will be the special guest of honour.
