Eastern Regional Women Football Clubs invited to meeting

Koforidua, May 3, GNA - The Interim Management Committee (IMC) of the Eastern Regional Women's Football Association has called a meeting to finalise preparations towards the registration of clubs and commencement of the Regional Women's Football League slated for mid-June this year.

It has therefore invited representatives of women's clubs in the region to a meeting at Koforidua on Wednesday, May 5, 2004 at the offices of the Regional Sports Council at 10.00 am.

Mr Charles Ayeh, Chairman of the IMC in a Press Release copied to the GNA Sports urged all eligible women football clubs to endeavour to register and to indicate their preparedness to participate in the regional league.

The Clubs invited to the meeting include Akwatia Deelorm Ladies, Koforidua Ghatel Ladies, Do Just -Do-It, Akosombo Y. P. G. Presby Ladies, Akuapem-Mampong Ayoola Ladies, Asamankese Kings Ladies and Begoro Fanteakwa Ladies.

The rest are Bososo Academy Ladies, Suhum Freeman Ladies F. C, Asuom Kwaebibirem Queens, Nkawkaw Kwahu Ladies, Nsawam Harmony Ladies, Gyankrom Future Ladies, Akosombo Hydro Ladies and Kade Liberty Ladies.
