ET Mensah Wishes GHAPOHA Well

Mr. E. T. Mensah, Minister of Youth and Sports today sent a goodwill message to Tema Ghapoha Readers, who meet Jeunnese Sportive Tenere of Niger in the second leg final match of the WAFU championship on Sunday, October 19 at the Accra Sports Stadium. Mr. Mensah praised Ghapoha for their excellent performance that has brought the team to this important final stage and expressed the hope that they would conquer the opponents and bring "our dear nation to tasting once again and the glory of winning the WAFU cup". He said Ghanaians have followed with appreciation the expoits of the club in the competition, and it has always been "our desire that you will triumph, together with the other Ghanaian clubs also in Africa continental tournament, to give great hope to our football development". Ghapoha lost 0-1 in the first leg played in Niame, Niger two weeks ago.
