Dwarfs to clash with local rivals Vipers in a friendly match

Cape Coast, May 8, GNA - Cape Coast Mysterious Dwarfs will clash with their local rivals Venomous Vipers in a friendly soccer match at the Robert Mensah stadium on Sunday. Mr Alex Arthur, Team Manager of Dwarfs said the match would be used to fine tune the club's preparation towards the second round of the Division One League scheduled for June.

He told GNA Sports in Cape Coast that it is the aim of the Club to qualify for the elite division and that the players were undergoing vigorous training to achieve the set purpose. Mr Kweku Tandoh, Chief Executive of Vipers said even though the Club has been relegated to the Second Division, the players would meet Dwarfs squarely and ensure a fruitful exercise. He appealed to football fans to attend the match in their numbers to cheer their clubs to victory. 08 May 09
