Cape Coast, April 10, GNA - A goal scored in the 43rd minute by Kw= ame Frimpong was enough to ensure Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs grabbed the maximum three points against visiting Aduana Stars in their Glo Premier League match at the Robert Mensah Stadium, Cape Coast on Sunday.
Even though it was Aduana who dominated proceedings at the initial stages of the game after the blast of referee J.K Amenyah's whistle, their efforts were thwarted by the able defence of Dwarfs.
Dwarfs took control of the game in the 40th minute as they raided the defence of their opponents and succeeded in fetching the winner three minute later and defended the lead till the close of proceedings.
Aduana Stars fought gallantly for the equaliser, with Alex Aryeh, Set= h Opare and Robert Yeboah putting in extra effort to break even but they were unable to break the defence of their opponents till the final whistle.
