Cape Coast Mysterious Dwarfs drew 1-1 with Dansoman-based Liberty Professionals in their GT Premier League match at the Robert Mensah Sports stadium on Sunday.
Dwarfs put pressure on Liberty Professionals right from the kick off and earned an early penalty but their playmaker, Ekow Ghansah wasted the chancey.
Liberty from then took command of the game and raided their opponent's vital area and in one of their attacks they got a corner kick, which was connected into the net by inside left Michael Helegbe in the 16th minute.
The second half saw Dwarfs on the war path as they kept the Liberty goal area boiling and it came as no surprise when inside left Emmanuel Ayitey levelled up the scores with a header from a cross delivered by substitute Douglas Mustapha in the 85th minute to earn Dwarfs a vital home point.
