Duncan receives high McCarthy rating

Accra Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Philemon McCarthy has said coach David Duncan is the reason behind the team’s fine form this season.

The Phobians are currently second on the league log with 19 points; two points shy of Kumasi Asante Kotoko after the first eight matches.

Speaking to GBC Ura Radio, McCarthy believes the Phobians will return to their good old days under Duncan’s tutelage.

“David Duncan is the main reason for our good start to the season. With more hard work, he will surely lead us to clinch the league title this season,“ the 22-year-old said.

Hearts of Oak are chasing their first league title in four years.
