Chelsea star Baba Rahman made an ‘unspecified’ cash donation to his former side Dreams FC for their shock win over Ebusua Dwarfs on their Ghana Premier League debut.
Rahman’s token is to motivate the team to maintain their good start and remain in the Ghana top-flight.
Dreams FC needed a Johnson Oppong strike in the 43rd minute to edge Dwarfs
Around that time Rahman was in action for Chelsea in their 5-1 win over a severely depleted Manchester City side in the FA Cup.
Baba captained Dreams FC in the third tier before before he was loaned to Kotoko and finally sold to Greuther Furth in the summer of 2012.
