Ghana’s dominance at the Pink Ladies Cup has been further highlighted with two individual honours for the Black Queens following their impressive campaign in the tournament.
Forward Doris Boaduwaa emerged as the competition’s top scorer after finishing with three goals, playing a crucial role in Ghana’s attacking success throughout the tournament. Her clinical finishing helped the Ghana women's national football team secure key victories and ultimately lift the trophy.
Boaduwaa’s performances made her one of the standout players of the tournament.
Ghana’s goalkeeper Cynthia Findiib Konlan was also named the Best Goalkeeper of the tournament after delivering outstanding performances between the posts. Konlan kept two clean sheets in two matches, providing a solid defensive backbone for the Black Queens.
The individual accolades add to a memorable campaign for the Black Queens, who were crowned champions of the Pink Ladies Cup after strong performances against Hong Kong, China, and Russia, with the final match against Tanzania called off.
