Medeama midfielder Kwesi Donsu says he has no immediate plans of pursuing a move away from the club.
The attacker is on the wish list of a host of clubs, both local and foreign, following his impressive performance in the 2015-16 Ghana Premier League and the 2016 Caf Confederation Cup.
He finished the topflight with 15 goals, only two shy of top scorer Latif Blessing of Liberty Professionals.
“As a player, I have a running contract with Medeama and there are clubs who will express interest in your services for the quality you possess," Donsu said, as reported by Football Ghana.
“But you cannot just say you are quitting the club because another club wants you. No it doesn’t work like that.
"When a team needs your services, it’s your club they contact first, and they [interested clubs] have done that but I think it’ll serve me well to keep developing in this club.
“Kwesi Donsu is still a Medeama player, who is working hard as always to achieve his goals, and hopes and prays that something good comes out from it.
“Football is something I’ve dedicated my life to, and as a person, when you’re doing something you cherish, you do it with all your heart.”
According to local reports, English Premier League side Middlesbrough are keeping a close eye on Donsu.
Medeama finished the season on fourth position.
