Godfred Donsah was at his benevolent best on Tuesday as he donated jerseys and footballs to his former club and other teams in the community where he grew up. The Italy based teenage sensation in in the country on a very short holiday to chiefly complete the shooting of a documentary with the television channel of his Serie A club, Bologna.

But Donsah will not return to Europe without giving back to his hometown of Daadom in the Brong Ahafo Region. The 19 year old gave out jerseys to his childhood club, DC United as well as Young Apostles and topped it up with a donation of balls to teams in his native land.

Donsah who had already exclusively revealed to Pulse Sports his plans to support the youth of his community to realise their dreams, says the donation of jerseys and balls is the beginning of his payback to his people. "This is just to help these teams to use and be able to train players to also have opportunities, I know there are a lot of good players around," Donsah told Pulse Sports.

"It's also my own small way of giving back to society," the 19 year old Bologna midfielder added full of poise.
