Donkorkrom to host volleyball semis

Koforidua Unity Club meets host team, Donkorkrom Court Winners in the first semi-finals match in the Eastern Region Volleyball tournament at Donkorkrom at the weekend.

The second semi-finals match is also scheduled for Donkorkrom is between Okere United Way of Adukrom and Akim Swedru Super Rangers.

A statement issued in Koforidua and copied to Ghana News Agency said reaching the semi-final stage, Regional Volleyball Association, Koforidua based Unity topped the South East Zone with nine points, while Adukrom based Okere United Way came second with six points to book a semi finals place.

In the North East Zone, Donkorkrom Court Winners topped the zone with six points and Super Rangers from Akim Swedru came second with six points as well.

The finals has been slated for October 11, at Akwatia.
