Deputy Sports Minister, Pius Enam Hadzide, has called on the various National Sports Federations to desist from using the media to fight his outfit.
In recent times, the Sports Ministry has come under huge criticisms in the media for their inability to finance the Ghana Amateur Boxing team and other three sporting disciplines to compete in international events which was to serve as qualifiers to the Commonwealth games in Australia.
This has made the Isaac Asiamah-led administration to be tagged as a football bias Ministry but Deputy Minister, Enam Hadzide is pleading with the sports fraternity not to engage the media to destroy their image whenever there are some disagreements.
“My brothers, we need to use the media to promote our sports fraternity but if ourselves use the media to destroy our fraternity as weapons. So I am therefore pleading we desist from that. So my doors are open for all your problems to be shared,” he told Starr Sports.
