Karela United struggled in the Ghana Premier League before its suspension, placing 17th with just 11 points amassed after 15 games.

"Honestly and personally, I would have wish for the league to continue so that I can prove my mettle and what I can do," he told Zuria FM Sports.

"We knew the task ahead before accepting the job. I’m very confident we are going to save the club. This is where good coaches and prove their worth. But whatever happens we are going to change things at Karela United."

"If you check my track record you will know what I’m capable of doing. I have done that to a lot of clubs and I am going to do same to Karela United."
