Former Aduana Stars player, Benard Don Bortey has urge Kwesi Appiah and the Ghana Football Association to recall suspended Sulley Muntari and Kevin-Prince Boateng back into the Black Stars.
It will be recalled that both players were suspended during the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. Sulley was asked to leave the camp of the team after he had an argument with management member, Moses Armah Parker spoiling his gadgets worth $8000 whiles KP Boateng was also sacked form the camp after using words on Kwesi Appiah.
After the shambolic display at the world cup in Brazil, both players have not been given the chance to play for the national team due to the recommendations made by the commission of inquiry reports.
According to the former New Edubiase player, Kwesi Appiah should overlook whatever happened in 2014 and recall both players because they are still good materials for the Black Stars.
"They should recall Muntari and Kevin-Prince Boateng." He told Accra FM.
"I don’t know what they did that they say they don’t respect, but if you say someone is disrespectful but the person is good at what he does, call him to the team and let him use his disrespectful nature to get the job done for you, because at the end of the day you want results.
"They cannot influence any of the other payers because they are all old enough to make their own decisions.
"Sulley has played the national team from the U-17, so he knows everything about Ghana football. I don’t know why he slapped someone and I don’t think he just got up without any provocation to slap him. "Something might have happened so to Kwesi Appiah, if you want results, forget about what has happened, call them and advise them.
"If he had spoken to them and kept them in the team, Ghana would have advanced in many competitions." He emphasized.
