Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri believes Joe Dodoo's transfer to Rangers shows the 21-year-old has come of age.
The Gers recently returned to the top echelons of Scottish football and have made a number of signings, with hot prospect Dodoo featuring amongst the most lauded of transfers.
And Ranieri feels the starlet, who signed a four-year deal with the Ibrox side in July after failing to make an impact at Leicester, has found his time to shine.
“With us, he was a young player,” the Italian began. “Now he has a new manager, new fans – everything has changed. With us, he was a boy. Now he is a man.
“When he played with me he scored goals and moved very well in training sessions. His life has changed now – I hope he succeeds and I wish him all the best.”
Dodoo's former captain, Wes Morgan, was also complimentary of the Ghanaian striker.
“He's a player with a lot of ability. He's a big strong boy and on his day he can cause problems. I'll be watching with much interest to see how well he does.”
