Different Strategy Against Nigeria - Le Roy

Claude Le Roy says he would employ a different strategy for Ghana?s quarter-final clash against Nigeria in the African Cup of Nations.

Ghana plays the Nigerians at the Ohene Djan Stadium in Accra on Sunday in the first quarter-final game of the tournament.

Le Roy, introduced a different approach in tactics against Morocco, allowing more operating room for Essien in midfield as Anthony Annan sat back in midfield.

?We had to create more space for Michael (Essien). That is why I put this fantastic player, Anthony Annan, who is a marvellous player. It?s a pity sometimes we cannot use this player for the game but that?s the reality.

"For our next game I'll have to work out a different strategy. The first quality of intelligence is to be able to adapt," the Ghana coach says.

However as Le Roy looks ahead, he mentions no names of his starting team and says he would vary his tactics against the Super Eagles.

?But my tactics would vary. I can?t say who would be in the team on Sunday. We have Laryea Kingston available.

?The reality is, there are eleven seats always available and we would see who gets a place.?

?I would not reveal my selection. That is something I never do. Throughout my career, it?s always between me and my players. I would inform them when I am ready.?
