HIBERNIAN manager Colin Calderwood spent £1,000 to make sure that Francis Dickoh could play in this weekends game.
The Ghana defender responded with a grand gesture of his own to help ensure Hibs won't go down this season.
And the gaffer's decision to splash the cash could prove MASSIVE as he continues to turn round the fortunes of the Easter Road club.
Dickoh was initially suspended for the clash having been sent off against Kilmarnock last weekend.
But Calderwood, who felt the call was unfair, chose to stump up the money and appeal - and late last week the SFA upheld his protest.
Dickoh thanked him with an 87th-minute winner that means Hibs are now seven points clear of Saints - and 11 ahead of rock-bottom Hamilton.
