Dutch side FC Utrecht have extended the contract of Black Stars defender Francis Dickoh till the end of the 2011 season.
Dickoh,26, has one year left on his current contract and it means he will stay with the club for another year.
"The new technical staff has confidence in me, which is demonstrated by this extension,"Dickoh told the club's official website.
"It suits me perfectly in Utrecht and also the city of Utrecht is great to live. The next two years I will get my level again, so I can play as much as possible.
The new direction by FC Utrecht is ambitious and it is nice that I am available.I hope and count on two super years in Utrecht."
Dickoh joined Utrecht in 2006 from Danish side FC Nordsjælland and has made 80 appearances.
"We now know Francis three seasons as a good footballer," said technical director Foeke Booy.
"It's very good that he will remain with us until 2011 as a central defender."
