Derek Boateng wants Dnipro exit

Black Stars midfielder Derek Boateng wants to leave Ukrainian outfit Dnipro, SuperSport.com understands. The player featured in Ghana's draw with China on Wednesday and made his frustrations clear.
Having been linked with some English clubs in recent days, notably Fulham and West Bromwich Albion, the 29 year old is said to be fed up with the increasing problems of racist treatment in the Eastern European country.
"It is true I want to leave the club. I will leave the club. I have to leave the club. I don't want to stay there anymore," he said after the Xi'an game. The player was dogged in his belief that Dnipro was not the place for him anymore.
When asked what exactly the problem was, Boateng declined to give specifics, only emphasizing he had to leave.
"There are some problems and some issues which I cannot discuss right now. I will leave by the grace of God," he said.

But reports in the last few days claimed that Ukrainian club Dnipro had reportedly knocked back an offer from Fulham for Derek Boateng. He had attracted the interest of the Cottagers recently with more reports suggesting that the West Londoners have made a bid.
However Dnipro, who purchased Boateng from Spanish club Getafe last summer, did not come to an agreement with Fulham for the former AIK, Beitar Jerusalem and FC Cologne man.
The versatile midfielder is believed to be keen on a new challenge after spending a season in the Ukrainian Premier League.
