Dede Ayew recovers from injury

Ghana and Olympique Marseille midfielder Andre Dede Ayew has recovered from an ankle injury that kept him out of action for one week.

The 17-year-old was in the line-up for his club in their 2-0 win over Monaco in Ligue One on Saturday but was on the bench.

Ayew, who has played six matches in Ligue One so far this season, suffered the setback during the game against Lille last week.

But the youngster was put through a medical regiment that ensured his quick recovery.

He should be ready for action when Marseille take on Liverpool in the mid-week Uefa Champions League action.

Ayew is the son of Ghana legend Abedi Pele who also played for Marseille in the 1990s.
