Dawu Keep Top Spot

Sawu Youngsters beat visiting Okwawu United 1-0 in their match played at Dawu. Dawu took the lead in the 44th minute through a penalty converted by left halfback Nii Darko Ankra after Okwawu's left half back Vicent Agyemang had handled the ball in his "18". Okwawu nearly equalized in the 62nd minute but an attacker's lob over goalie Leonard Moffart of Dawu was headed out by central defender Osumanu Husein. Dawu were reduced to ten men in the 80th minute when their inside right Kwaku Boison was red carded for persistent rough play. In the 89th minute, midfielder Charles Duah was around to scoop the ball from the goaline when substitute hope dope Aziz of Dawu out-paced the defence of Okwawu and lobbed it over on-rushing goalie Joseph Ayittey.
