Ghana striker David Accam returned to full-scale training at Chicago Fire on Monday after recovering from a groin injury, DailySoccerGhana.com can confirm.
The 24-year-old missed Chicago Fire’s opening two MLS games against LA Galaxy and Vancouver Whitecaps due to the injury.
The ex-Helsingborg player made a comeback to light training on March 9 after showing signs of progress in his recuperation.
Accam picked up the injury on his debut for Chicago Fire in the pre-season friendly against Stabaek on February 22nd.
Coach Frank Yallop is hoping the youngster will be able to make his MLS debut against San Jose Earthquakes on Sunday.
