Asante Kotoko forward Dauda Mohammed has vowed to return stronger than before after picking up an injury that will rule him out of action for 21 days.

The promising striker scored a goal in Kotoko 2-0 victory over Bechem on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

But was stretched off the pitch after picking up a thigh problem with the club reporting the player would be out for a considerable amount of time.

Having been in a rich vein of form before the injury Dauda remains confident he will return stronger than before.

“I am really disappointed that I would be out for sometime but it’s better now than when the season starts,” Dauda told GHANAsoccernet.com

“We will continue looking for the best but I am certain I will work hard to return stronger and better than ever.”

The 17-year-old will have to play above himself in the coming season after heightened expectations following his stellar performance last season.
