Daniel Opare stars in Augsburg pre-season friendly with Middlesbrough

Ghana defender Daniel Opare is slowly winning back his spot at German side Augsburg.

Opare was involved in their pre-season friendly with English side Middlesbrough on Sunday.

The 27-year old was impressive and lasted over 60 minutes in the game which they lost 2-1.

Opare who spent last season on loan seems to have finally gotten his career back on track as many Augsburg fans were pleased with his performance.

Last season he was frozen out and later loaned out to French side Lens.
