Ghana U20 defender Daniel Ashley Addo has started trials with German champions Wolfsburg.
The 20-year-old was supposed to train with the first team on Monday but was put forward Tuesday as they were on a break after the weekend's league match against Nuremberg.
The King Faisal defender was made to train with the club's second side yesterday but trained with the first team on Tuesday.
"After the game in Nuremberg VfL coach Lorenz-Günther Köstner had given his players a day off, so Daniel trained at the request of Kostner and manager Dieter Hoeness,"Wolfsburg second team coach Alexander Strehmel said.
"In his first session of his training Addo looked a little tired. Addo had landed almost four hours before the training so he had little rest.
Strehmel added: "Even though he looked tired he was impressive."
Addo was part of Ghana's team that won the U20 World Cup last year and even though he was sent off in the final game Ghana won the title against Brazil.
He is among some of the players in the squad who are being targeted by European clubs ahead of the new season in Europe.
Addo is expected to stay at the club for the next two weeks before a decision is made on his future.
