Former Black Starlets goalkeeper Ali Jaraah has expressed his disappointment at the current crop of goalkeepers n the domestic league.

The crocked national goalie who rose to fame with the Black Starlets in the 1991 World Cup winning team dubbed the current class of goal keepers as worst in the last 45 years.

The former Hearts of Oak goal keeper played 3 juvenile world cups for Ghana before his unfortunate career ending injury at Manchester truncated a bright start to his profession.

The goal keeper added his voice to a section of fans questioning the class of goal keeping talent on the local scene.

He told sports crusader, “If I am to compare the goalkeepers I have watched for the past 45 years, this crop of goal keepers are the worst. I am sorry but this is the truth”.

Many fans are questioning the current state of goalkeepers in the country despite the continual efforts from the goal keeper’s trainers.

Ali Jaraah will go down in history as one of the finest goal keepers to have graced the national post.
