Crystal Palace manager Sam Allardyce is excited to secure the services of Ghanaian international Jeffrey Schlupp.
The left-back sealed a four and a half year deal with the Eagles on Friday afternoon.
The player who becomes the first signing for the Club in the January transfer window is expected to walk into the starting line-up.
Allardyce reveals he has been an admirer of the 24-year-old who made his third major move in career.
‘I am delighted we have been able to secure Jeffrey’s services, he is a player I have admired for some time and is a talented and athletic player," he spoke to the Club's official website.
“He will bring strength and experience to the defence and will be a major asset for the club having just turned 24 years old”.
Schlupp warmed the bench at Leicester City throughout the first round of the season fueling his move to Palace.
He is reported to have moved to the South Norwood-based Club in a £12million transfer fee.
The Black Stars defender could be in action for the Club when they travel to play West Ham United on Saturday.
