Corporate Ghana must play a role in Sports Youth Development-Dep Sports Mininster

The Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Hon. Vincent Oppong Asamoah has called on corporate Ghana to support youth development in sports across various discipline.

During the launch of the youth in weightlifting program at the Accra Sports stadium the minister admitted the ministry have fallen short financially in helping the sports develop but believed with corporate world on board the youth participation in Sports discipline will grow.

Speaking to the gathered press and school children selected from the cluster of schools in Accra, the minister said, “I will urge the big companies to come on board and support such a worthy course of sport”

He added, “the various corporations to emulate Indomie’s support to the development of the youth in the country which has made them develop a distinctive brand name for themselves”.
