Coegan Ladies play Pepsi Academy in a friendly match on Dec. 27

Tema, Dec. 8, GNA - Coegan Ladies, pride of Tema Manhean take on Pepsi Academy in a friendly football match at Tema Manhean on Sunday, December 27. Mr Samuel Ofori Amasah, Team Manager of Coegan Ladies told GNA Sports at Tema on Tuesday, that the match forms part of activities marking the celebrations of this year's yuletide.

He said Coegan Ladies would also use the match to prepare for the Tema Manhean Women's Soccer League due to start soon. Mr Amasah said some of the players expected to feature for his team include Ernestina Adjetey, Cynthia Adjei, Patience Agoe, Patience Adjetey and Ivy Korley.

The Team Manager said his team would embark on a series of training matches with top clubs to psyche up the players. "We are leaving no stone unturned to emerge champions of the 2009/2010 League and the series of friendly matches we engage in would help us achieve our aim", he said. 08 Dec. 09
