Accra, Sept 3, GNA – Black Stars Head Coach, Goran Stevanovic could hand Albert Adomah a starting role when Ghana face five time World Champions, Brazil in an international friendly game billed for London on Monday.
The Bristol City striker could not even make the grade for a place on the bench when the Stars defeated Swaziland 2-0 in a crucial African Cup of Nations on Friday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
However, Stevanovic insists the player will feature in the game against the Samba Boys.
Adomah was hoping to make his debut for Ghana in the abortive international friendly game against Nigeria that was postponed due to rioting in London last night. But after organizers were forced to push the game to October, Friday’s qualifier remained his biggest dream.
The Coach told GNA Sports “I will give Adomah a chance against Brazil. That will be a friendly game and apart from the motivation that comes with playing against Brazil, the players will be more relaxed and that is very good for me.
“I will also give Rabiu Mohammed as well a big part to play. I plan to give players like Jordan Ayew who did not get a chance to play today an opportunity to prove themselves and gain some experience on Monday.’
The last time the two teams met in 2007, it was Brazil’s Vagner Love’s goal that separated both sides.
