Coach 'Milo' rubbishes Papic talks

Accra, May 21, GNA - Black Stars trainer, Milovan Rajevac has quashed reports linking Hearts of Oak trainer Kostadin Papic to a supposed technical role.

Media reports have linked Papic, also a Serb to a role in the Stars technical team due to his close association with his compatriot, but coach Milovan insists there is no such plan on the cards.

"I know Papic very well and he is my friend. But there are no intentions of drafting him into the technical team," Milovan told GNA Sports in Accra.

The Stars trainer was emphatic that those reports are baseless and should be treated as such

"These are mere speculations and fabrications which should not be taken seriously."

Milovan appeared content with his technical team made up of Deputy Kwesi Appiah and Goalkeepers' trainer Edward Ansah.

Meanwhile, attempts to get Papic for his side of the report proved fruitless. The 49-year old joined the Phobians in 2008 after previous spells in Nigeria and South Africa.
