Coach Kwesi Appiah to arrive in Ghana on Saturday

Newly appointed coach of Black Stars James Kwesi Appiah will touch down in Ghana on Saturday ahead of his unveiling next week, according to media reports.

Appiah, 56, who was named as the successor to Israeli trainer Avram Grant earlier this week is expected to vacate his role as the head coach of Sudanese outfit Al Khartoum El Watani in the coming days.

The former Ghana captain has been handed an initial two-year contract which is subject to renewal.

Kwesi Appiah officially starts his two-year journey on May 1.
