Asante Kotoko interim coach Frimpong Manso has affirmed his readiness to lead the club but concedes that the challenge is daunting.

The former Karela FC coach has been handed the Porcupine job to offer assistance to Godwin Ablordey for the rest of the season following the sacking of Croatian tactician Zdravko Lugarusic last Sunday.

“Kotoko is a big Club and I must admit that this will be a huge challenge for me,” Manso said as quoted by Ghanasportsonline.com.

“It is not going to be easy but I know with the help of the other technical members everything will be fine.

“I will do my possible best to get the team back to winning ways.”

He is expected to commence his duties for the club on Sunday when they play as guests to defending league champions Wa All Stars in week 12 of the Ghana Premier League.
