Emmanuel Kwasi Afranie popularly called ‘Coach hene’ will be buried on Saturday February 25, 2017 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi of the Ashanti region.

The body will later be transferred to Bonwire-Amanpeh cemetery for burial.

Thanksgiving service will take place on Sunday February 26, 2017 at the Presbyterian church of Ghana, Asawasi. Family will later converged at Stadium.

The former national coach who aged 73 died on the road on Wednesday November 9, 2016 when the ambulance conveying him from the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi for treatment involved in an accident leading to his death.

He was the head coach for the Black Stars during the 1984 AFCON in Ivory Coast.

He left behind a wife and children
