Coach Abugri in line to handle Bawku United

Bawku United have contacted demoted Hearts of Oak assistant coach Stephen Abugri.

The second-tier side, owned by former Sports Minister Mahama Ayariga, are bent on luring the former King Faisal coach to his hometown club.

ā€œI speak to Hon. Ayariga always because he is my senior brother and so there has been contact but for now I’m still a Hearts coach on the same salary despite being with the junior team,ā€ Abugri told GHANASoccernet.com

Abugri was accused of undermining head coach Herbert Addo and was re-assigned to handle the youth team.

He swapped positions with Dauda Lutterodt who is now second-in-command at the senior team.
