Clottey impresses promoter

Fresh off an impressive victory over WBC No.9 world ranked welterweight Chris Henry on Saturday night at the Flamingo Hotel & Casino in Laughlin, Nevada, DiBella Entertainment's welterweight contender Joshua Clottey once again illustrated that he is a force to be reckoned with in the division.

The highly-regarded native of Ghana had Henry on the canvas once in round three, twice in round four, and twice again in the fifth round to score a spectacular kinockout victory, and claim the NABC Welterweight Championship and improve his record to 27-1-(19).

"Joshua Clottey is capable of beating any welterweight in the world," said Clottey's promoter Lou DiBella, president of DiBella Entertainment.

"His only loss was a disputed disqualification to a highly ranked fighter, and he has come back with a vengeance in recent fights with DBE. Joshua would welcome the opportunity to fight any of the top welterweights in the world, including Cory Spinks, Zab Judah, and Antonio Margarito."
