Spain-based Clifford Aboagye is expected to arrive in the Ghana U20 camp on Friday ahead of their opening game at the World Cup against Austria.
The Black Satellites open their Group B campaign at the tournament being staged in New Zealand on Saturday against the Europeans.
Aboagye who is one of the big-name Europe-based players for the Black Satellites has set off from his base in Spain to join up with the side.
The 20-year-old who plays for the youth side of Granada will be making a second appearance at the FIFA U20 World Cup after emerging one of the best players in the last edition staged in Turkey.
