Christiana Zigah leads GFA Instructors Committee

Retired referee Christiana Zigah, has been appointed by the Ghana Football Association (GFA), to head the Instructors Committee.

A statement from the GFA said, she would be assisted by R.K Atiffu and Seidu Bomisson.

According to the statement, the committee would be responsible for refereeing strategies, training referees on league specific rules, training referees on Player misconduct handling, ethics in refereeing and training Referees on refereeing positioning

It addition, the committee would be in charge of training referees on psychology.

The GFA said, the committee would be reviewed and improved continuously, and there shall also be a minimum of three (3) technical Instructors in every region.

The statement that Mr. Augustine Fugah, Augustine Fugah, Tetteh Opae, and Vivian Agor have been appointed

The Physical Instructors are expected to come up with a training theory for referees and would also be responsible for the fitness of referees and their training.

This committee shall also be reviewed periodically, and a minimum of three (3) Physical Instructors in every region would be added.
