Chief Imam has inspired me to win on Saturday – Patrick Allotey

Patrick Allotey aka Arrow, one of Ghana's world title prospects and the current WBO Africa Super Welterweight Champion Patrick Allotey yesterday paid a special visit to the National Chief Imam, Sheikh, Dr.Osuman Nuhu Sharubutu ahead of his first title defense fight against Badru Lusambya of Uganda at Bukum Boxing Arena.

The Mamprobi based boxer was accompanied by some members of the Cabic Promotions and Management,organizers of the Saturday CABIC BIG NIGHT FIGHT expressed profound gratitude for physically seeing the National Chief Imam for the first time and promised to bring the title back to the Chief Imam after defending it God willing on Saturday against the durable Lasumbya.

The National Chief Imam offered special prayers for Patrick Allotey and the other Ghanaian boxers fighting on Saturday.

He urged them to be focused and be positive in their minds and with hard work and discipline, victory will be theirs.

"I thank God for seeing the National Chief Imam in person today.I have been blessed and extra motivated by this special honour done me.I Will do everything possible to win on Saturday and present the title to his Eminence the National Chief Imam afterwards"-Allotey posited.

The National Chief Imam expressed his heartwarm gratitude to the boxer and his team for honouring him with such a surprise visit.

A delelegation from the office of the National Chief Imam is expected to be at the ringside of the Bukom Boxing Arena on Saturday to watch the fight.
