Chelsea to hold contract talks with Jordan Opoku

Berekum Chelsea are poised to hold talks with midfielder Jordan Opoku early next week in order to extend his contract after it emerged that Asante Kotoko are eager to sign their former player.

Goal Ghana has been hinted that the Blues will sit with the player and tie him down to a three-year contract as his existing one has just a year left on it.

Opoku was very vital for Chelsea as they reached the money zone of the Caf Champions League last season and they believe he will be ideal for them as they seek to go all out this season.

The former Gomoah Fetteh Feyernoord and Feyernoord Rotterdam of the Netherlands midfielder was one of the most consistent players in the Ghana Premier League last season.
