Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has pledged to help Ghana international Abdul Rahman Baba to get back on track.

The talented left-back is yet to play a game since January after tearing the ligaments in his knee during the African Cup of Nations in Gabon.

Baba who was on loan at Schalke is now back to Chelsea and Conte has promised to help him though he does not know his next move.

“This player is coming back from a bad injury and he’s struggling a bit to recover the best form,” Conte told tribalfootball

“I must be honest, I don’t know what will happen with Baba. From a human aspect, I’d like to give him an opportunity to come back strong like before.

“Now he has to face his recovery. He’s showing great patience because he’s struggling a lot. If I can help him I’m ready to help him because there is the player, and then there is the human aspect. For him it’s good to stay here and recover.”

The 23-year-old Ghanaian has been linked with a move to Fenerbahce and Galatasary as well as Crystal Palace in recent weeks
