The MoneyGram Soccer Park came to life on a very chilly night as a mix bag of fans dominated by the Ghanaian community in Dallas, prominent among them was Ghana Legend, Sarfo Gyamfi amidst “Jamma” and dancing but that was not enough to inspire Bechem who fell by a lone goal to Cedar Stars in the quarterfinal stage of Dallas Cup.

Before the interval, a defensive blunder gifted Cedar Stars a goal in the 38th minute in an entertaining game dominated by the lads from the Aharfo Region of Ghana.

The second half saw The Hunters continue their hunt for goals but it was not meant to be as their opponents blocked their shots due to their defensive play.

Coach Freddie Etsiakoh said, the game was a story of being new to the system, we played better than them but they scored through one mistake and they defended throughout.

He further, admonished his boys to hold their head high, because they have done Ghana, Bechem and the team proud.

Falling at the quarterfinal stage of the competition was great achievement being debutant at the Dallas Cup.

The team will return next year stronger and better.
