Catania and Genoa consider Boateng

Catania and Genoa are considering the option of taking Kingsley Boateng on loan from Milan this summer.

The 19-year-old Ghanaian is a star of the Rossoneri youth academy, though he missed much of last season with a serious knee injury.

He impressed during pre-season friendlies, scoring the winner against Sao Paulo in the Audi Cup last week.

There are reports Catania or Genoa could take Boateng on loan in order to give him some Serie A experience.

Failing that, he would be used with Andrea Petagna in the Primavera youth team now coached by Filippo Inzaghi.

Genoa have already been in talks with Milan to take M’Baye Niang on loan, but Boateng would be a different option.
