Ghana coach CK Akonnor will not hesitate to re-admit Kevin-Prince Boateng into the Black Stars.

But Akonnor will need clearance from the Ghana Football Association after the experience midfielder was handed an indefinite ban for his unruly behaviour at the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals in Brazil.

Boateng was thrown out of camp after launching the F-word tirade on head coach Kwesi Appiah in training.

The former Barcelona player recently said in an Instagram Live chat with his half brother Jerome of Bayern Munich that he has an unfinished business with the Black Stars.

Akonnor, who took charge of early this year, says he has no issues working with the prodigal son.

''Why not. He's played before. He has done well. There were some issues I think we can't also deny that but if he's doing well and actively playing and he's strong, very experienced player, why not,'' he told Joy Sports.

''Whatever it is, I really need to talk to the GFA about it but he'll be welcomed if he's interested.

''The other day during the press conference, I had a chat with him and the story was different (twisted) but later he came back to say the truth.

''When I was playing in Germany, I think he was then coming up from Berlin so I know him very well and he's a tough boy.''
