CK Akonnor holds first training session with Ashanti Gold

Newly-appointed Ashanti Gold Coach CK Akonnor held his first training session with the team on Wednesday afternoon.

Akonnor has been appointed head Coach of the Miners until the end of the season.

He replaces Bashiru Hayford who resigned from the post after just 9 matches in the Ghana Premier League.

The ex-Ghana international engaged the players for the first time at the team’s home venue in Obuasi.

He will lead the former Ghana Premier League Champions this weekend when they take on Inter-Allies at the El WAK Sports Stadium.
