Black Stars B head coach Maxwell Konadu has showered praises on the stars despite their inability to qualify to the CHAN Cup of Nations in 2020 following their elimination by Burkina Faso in the qualifiers.
Ghana couldn't over turn a one nil deficit they suffered at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in the second leg of the CHAN qualifiers against Burkina Faso in Ouagadougou.
This will be the third time the team has failed to reach the finals of the CHAN tournament after reaching the final in 2014 in South Africa but Coach Maxwell Konadu thinks the team did well despite their inability to qualify.
"I think that we played well and I'm happy with the team. At the moment the team is playing so well but you saw the frustration coming from the referee there was no extra time added on he just whistled for the end of the match"
"I think this has been a wonderful group. We were not able to win to qualify but getting a goalless draw is not a bad performance that is what is worrying else we didn't disgrace ourselves" said Konadu after the game.
